License

WunderPaint is free software

WunderPaint, including WunderPaint Pro, is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL), the same license WordPress itself uses.

What the GPL gives you

Under the GPL you are free to use the plugin on as many sites as your license permits, to study how it works, to modify it for your own needs, and to redistribute it. These freedoms apply to the program code.

What you are buying

Because the code is GPL, a Pro license or an extension purchase is not a restriction on that code. What you pay for is the service around it: access to official downloads, automatic updates, and support for the duration of your license. Your purchase funds ongoing development. If a license lapses, the plugin keeps working; you simply stop receiving updates and support.

Bundled third-party components

WunderPaint includes third-party open-source libraries and on-device AI models, each under its own license (for example Font Awesome, three.js, and the machine-learning models used by the local AI tools). These licenses are listed in the plugin’s readme and credits, and their terms apply to those components.

Trademarks

The GPL covers the code, not the brand. “WunderPaint”, “TBIT DESIGN” and our logo remain our trademarks and are not licensed under the GPL. WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor and other names are trademarks of their respective owners.

No warranty

As stated in the GPL, the program is provided without warranty, to the extent permitted by law. See our Disclaimer.
